Version 6.3.1 – Import Functionality Not Working

The Aspose.Words Import and Export Word Documents plugin (v6.3.1) currently does not import any documents. Instead, the process either stalls or results in an empty document block.

:mag: Tests Conducted:

  • :white_check_mark: Tested on WordPress 6.8.1 and WordPress 6.7.2
  • :white_check_mark: Evaluated on multiple PHP versions (7.4 to 8.4)
  • :white_check_mark: Checked across two different hosting providers
  • :white_check_mark: Used a previously functional document for comparison
  • :white_check_mark: Tested on both Block Editor and Classic Editor

:hammer_and_wrench: Support Attempts:

We’ve used this plugin across hundreds of sites and reached out to Aspose sales for paid support. Unfortunately, we were informed that support is not available for this plugin since it operates under a free cloud license.

:warning: Has anyone else encountered this issue? Any suggested workarounds?

Could you please provide more details about the specific error messages or behaviors you are encountering when trying to import documents using the Aspose.Words plugin?

No error messages at all, it just does not import the document. On classic editor it just spins, and block empty loads an empty classic block.

This plugin has been unlisted for some time already. Support for this plugin has ceased.
