PDF to TIFF conversion via API is resulting in TIFFs with some pages being blank

I am using API endpoints like https://api.aspose.cloud/v3.0/pdf/MY_FILES_GUID.pdf/convert/tiff to convert multipage PDFs into multi page TIFF files

I am finding that a lot of the time, this results in a TIFF file with multiple blank pages. It is not consistent which pages end up being blank. The same file run through the conversion API multiple times can result in different pages being converted/blank

I have attached some files which I have seen this problem occurring with. My notes on running these files through the API three times are…

  • brightsign-XD5-datasheet-2024.pdf

    • test 1 = converted pages 1,2,3,4 - no pages are blank
    • test 2 = converted pages 1,3,4 - page 2 is blank
    • test 3 = converted pages 1,3,4 - page 2 is blank

  • brightsign-LS5-datasheet-2024.pdf

    • test 1 = converted pages 1,3,4 - page 2 is blank
    • test 2 = converted pages 1,4 - pages 2,3 are blank
    • test 3 = converted pages 1,2,3,4 - no pages are blank

  • Brightsign-HD5-datasheet-2024.pdf

    • test 1 = converted pages 1,3,4 - page 2 is blank
    • test 2 = converted pages 1,3,4 - page 2 is blank
    • test 3 = converted pages 1,2,3,4 - no pages are blank

  • brightsign_hd1020_manuel.pdf

    • test 1 = converted page 1 only - pages 2-28 are blank
    • test 2 = converted page 1 only - pages 2-28 are blank
    • test 3 = converted page 1 only - pages 2-28 are blank

These are not the only PDFs which I have seen this error occur in. I have seen in it with multiple other files too, but these are the ones which do not have any sensitive business data in them

Hi, attached is a zip file containing the converted TIFF files which have blank pages

The error is that I am asking for multi-page PDFs to be converted to TIFF files, and the resulting TIFF files will often have blank pages. The pages which are blank are not consistent, I can do multiple conversion requests on the same source file and get different combinations of blank/valid pages

The filenames of the TIFF files in the zip file should let you know which of the PDF files they were converted from (with the source files being attached to the initial post in this thread), and which pages are blank
