Aspose.WORDS for PHP Cloud API returns 504 and 502

Hello,
We have been using the mailMerge features for long time but currently almost every day it sometimes returns 504 or 502 Error connecting to the API.

Is there some kind of service failure or something?

Thank you

@infolemadk Do you use Cloud API?

Yes, https://api.aspose.cloud/v4.0/words

We are sorry for the inconvenience. While investigating the server logs, we noticed some high memory usage. We are looking into the issue.

Just adding a vote/voice to the

We acknowledge it and will share an update accordingly.

Is there any update regards to this issue?

@infolemadk

We have increased the number of server nodes and it seems it improved the situation. Please check and confirm.

HTTP status codes like 504 (Gateway Timeout) or 502 (Bad Gateway) typically indicate issues with the server hosting the service or with the network connection between your system and the server. These issues can be caused by various factors such as high server load, network problems, or service outages.

To determine if there’s a service failure or ongoing issue with the mail merge service you’re using, I recommend the following steps:

  1. Check Service Status Page: Visit the official website or service status page of the mail merge service provider. They often provide updates on ongoing issues and maintenance.
  2. Contact Support: Reach out to the customer support or technical support of the mail merge service. They can provide you with information about any known issues and help you troubleshoot the problem.
  3. Monitor the Situation: If it’s a recurring issue, keep an eye on it to see if it’s resolved over time. Service providers usually work to fix such issues promptly.
  4. Alternative Solutions: Consider having backup plans or alternative methods for your mail merge tasks if the issue continues to persist.
