Aspose File Conversion using Salesforce portal

Our company Conduent is evaluating Aspose Cloud APIs for converting documents from various file types to pdf. The documents will be uploaded through a portal which is hosted on Salesforce communities and the solution should be capable of reading the file either from memory or from a salesforce object and convert it to PDF.

Can you please let us know if your API solution would be able to work for this scenario? If yes, provide some documenation and examples on how to use aspose APIs to read those files and convert
to PDF?

Also will you be storing the files on your server and if yes, how long will it stay in your server before it is purged.

One of our other teams is already using aspose.word as a hosted solution.

Thanks!

You can convert documents from memory to PDF using the Aspose.Words Cloud API. Please check the following documentation for details.

You can use Aspose Cloud APIs in Salesforce, please check a related post for an idea.

You can process documents with or without cloud storage. Aspose Cloud provides an internal cloud storage along with third party cloud storages. The internal support provides a Storage Mode option in the aspose.cloud dashboard to retain files for one month/week/day. As a result, you can configure it according to your needs.

Thank you for your response. If we were to use Aspose API for converting from other file types as well, then which API would we be using. We would like to get some more clarity on the APIs and how they work. Is it possible to get on a call with your team to understand the capabilities?

Thanks!

Please check the list of supported file formats of the Aspose.Words Cloud API. However, if your required file format is not in the list, then please specify the intended file format for the conversion; we will suggest the product accordingly.

I am afraid we do not provide technical support over the phone. You may please post your queries in the forum; we will be more than happy to answer them.
